AI in Dentistry

In today's evolving world, AI, or artificial intelligence, is becoming more prominent in many areas. It has become a lot more popular in social media, school, and fields of study. I personally have used it for permitted help in my schoolwork, but my particular fascination with AI evolving is in dentistry.      I know the idea of AI being used in healthcare may be scary to some, but according to the ADA, dentist assure their patients and others that AI will never be used as a primary form of care. Ways in which AI can help dental care are in imaging and diagnosis, treatment planning, virtual reality, and administrative help.  Imaging and diagnosis: - AI helps with imaging and diagnosis by analyzing scans of patients and helping the dentist diagnose the pa...

Legal Issues within Teledentist

This also puts the patient's health at risk and could be very serious. This is just one reason why online video visits are not always the best way to go about seeing your dentist and why this evolving business is not the smartest thing to...

About Me: Cara McCall

Image
I have always been told I am a caring, almost as if I am a mother figure to my friends. I have also been told by many of my family members and old teachers that I am a driven and organized individual. Personally, I would agree that I am organized and driven. I enjoy being a caring person towards my friends and on the occasion to strangers. With these skills I believe I possess, I think I would succeed in my dream career choice as an Orthodontics.  Some other things that can contribute to my ability to be ready for a job such as an Orthodontist are the clubs and activities I participate in. Some clubs and activities I am involved in include:     1. Pre-Dental Honor Society      2. Smile Squad Honor Society      3. ECU Club Swim      4. Volunteering in various places such as the Human Society and within the biology department as a biology promoter     5. UA in training for the Biology/Chemistry department   ...
