A Shortage in the Dental World

      As many people know, the pandemic hit many people very hard. Some business definitely endured more suffering financially and maybe more mentally than others. Personally, I feel like the biggest shortage I hear about is nurses, but when looking more closely at things, the dental world is suffering just as much.  This phenomenon is definitely not new, but it has gotten worse over the pandemic and during quarantine especially.      The pandemic is definitely a big reasoning for shortages, but there are also many other factors as to why there is a decline in dental office positions such as dental assistants, administration, and dentists. Regenerative Dentistry

       Regenerative dentistry is on the uprise in the dental community. Regenerative dentistry opens numerous opportunities for those in need of treatment. Many people have had to rely on certain common treatments such as braces, cavity refills, or implants. Regenerative dentistry allows for people to have an alternative and natural option on the contrary to the other treatments available.      The way this process works is through biological therapy. A course plan for therapy is created for a patient in order for the damaged tooth to begin to grow back by regeneration. The process of generation allows for the stimulation of stem cells that then trigger the growth of dentin which allows for the growth of a damaged tooth.
